This leadership role offers the chance to oversee one of Australia’s large-scale clean energy projects, managing day-to-day operations, safety, compliance, and performance of solar and storage assets.

The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll lead operational and commercial activities following practical completion, with field technicians reporting into you. Before handover, you’ll support the Projects Team by auditing construction, commissioning processes, and implementing operational and safety procedures to ensure a smooth transition to operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Safety: Manage site OH&S, compliance, and operational safety across solar and BESS assets.
  • Operations & Performance: Oversee daily site activities, maximise asset availability, manage budgets and contracts, and deliver KPI-driven outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, regulators, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Commercial & Planning: Manage budgets, contracts, audits, and reporting while optimising long-term site performance and revenue.
Skills & Experience
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology + HV Switching Certification.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and ability to adapt to evolving solar/BESS technologies.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and CMMS.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in HV asset management and/or utility-scale solar & BESS projects.
