Scholarship & Referral Policy

Phillip Riley has partnered with Macquarie University to provide funding to a student studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

The student recipient will receive $5,000 per year over a four year period for a total of $20,000.

Phillip Riley are committed to improving diversity within the industry, therefore female and Aboriginal and Torres Strait applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Phillip Riley will Fund the Renewable Energy Scholarship through recruitment revenue that has been generated from industry/network referrals of either candidates for our vacancies, or client introductions that lead to recruitment revenue where appropriate; the choice to donate the fee is at the discretion of the referrer or client.

• Candidates Referral = $250

• Client Referral = 10% of the Fee 

Phillip Riley highly values it when someone within feels confident to refer their friend, colleague or peer to us to have a discussion about potential opportunities in the industry. Hence, we have a Referral Policy to show our appreciation for such referrals.

Referrals are welcomed either directly via email, or by following the referral links on our job listings. If the referred candidate is successful in placement, following a six-month probationary period, $250 will be donated on your behalf to the Phillip Riley Renewable Energy Scholarship Fund if preferred.

Phillip Riley partners with a service provider (Refari) who enables and enhances the recruitment referral experience for those who submit a candidate for Phillip Riley’s consideration. Refari ensures that the candidate referrer is automatically informed and kept updated via automatic email technology.
