As a Project Manager within the Asset Delivery team, you will act on behalf of the project owner to manage all aspects of construction and delivery of solar and BESS projects. From planning and risk management to compliance and stakeholder engagement, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Oversee quality control and ensure best practice delivery across all stages of construction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, communities, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Manage project budgets, contractual obligations, and interface across internal teams.
- Prepare briefings, board papers, and formal documentation for senior stakeholders.
- On-site presence of 2–3 days per week is expected (flexible depending on project needs).
About You Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 3 - 5 years project engineering experience of large-scale solar and/or BESS or related infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and project delivery skills.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, social procurement, and community engagement practices.
- Budgeting and financial reporting proficiency.
- Experience navigating grid connection processes with AEMO and NSPs.
- Proficiency with tools such as Primavera, Aconex, MS Project, or PPM systems.
- Familiarity with relevant government policies and energy market regulations (e.g., NER).
