Position Summary

We are seeking a National Operations Manager to lead the safe, on-time, and commercially disciplined delivery of Australia’s transmission projects. The role oversees workforce deployment, construction performance, program delivery, and operational risk, translating executive strategy into high-performance execution across multiple HV transmission projects.
Applications from experienced Senior Project Engineers that have delivered HV transmission projects looking to step up into a national leadership role will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of all Australian HV transmission projects.
• Manage workforce and resources, including subcontractors, equipment, and site leadership.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support commercial and strategic initiatives, including bids and national capability growth.

Key Attributes and Experience

• Proven project management experience in HV transmission, with strong focus on safety, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, practical mindset, and understanding of the asset management lifecycle.
• Effective communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel across Australia.
