PR Projects is currently recruiting an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician on behalf of a leading global renewable energy company operating utility-scale solar assets across Australia.

This role will see you working on a large-scale solar power plant, supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of site electrical systems to ensure maximum plant availability and reliability.

Location: Western Downs

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on solar plant equipment
• Monitor plant performance and support fault finding and troubleshooting activities
• Conduct inspections, thermographic testing and maintenance tasks
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and operational events
• Work closely with the Plant Manager and site team to ensure safe and efficient plant operation

Requirements

• Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
• HV Switching Ticket with PLQ switching experience
• White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in electrical fieldwork, ideally within solar, substations or HV/MV infrastructure
• Full Australian work rights
