About the Role

Step into a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same. As a Transformer Technician, you’ll be at the frontline of Australia’s energy network — working directly with customers to service, maintain, and test critical power and distribution transformers.

From field service work to cutting-edge projects in our advanced facility, you’ll play a vital role in keeping essential infrastructure running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver end-to-end transformer service projects across site and workshop environments
• Lead installations including offloading, assembly, oil processing, and electrical testing
• Perform upgrades, refurbishments, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Carry out HV/LV electrical work, including terminations, testing, and fault-finding
• Operate specialised transformer testing and oil processing equipment

What You’ll Bring

• Electrical trade qualification (A-Grade Licence highly regarded)
• Experience with power or distribution transformers (assembly, testing, or maintenance)
• Solid knowledge of HV/LV systems, diagnostics, and electrical testing
• Current White Card, CPR/LVR, and Driver’s Licence
• Flexibility to travel across Australia for site-based work
