About the role
Reporting to the Head of Service & Customer Delivery, this role provides technical support for an operational fleet of grid-connected BESS assets across Australia.
You’ll act as a key interface between customers, field service teams and internal engineering functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer technical enquiries, alarms and system faults
- Triage and manage incidents end-to-end in line with SLAs
- Perform remote diagnostics using SCADA, monitoring platforms and event logs
- Coordinate on-site support with field service teams and subcontractors
- Support commissioning, energisation and post-installation troubleshooting
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in service engineering, technical support or field service within power systems or renewables
- Exposure to BESS, power electronics or inverter-based resources highly regarded
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics and protection settings
- Strong customer communication skills and structured fault-finding approach
- Excellent entry point into the renewables and energy storage sector
- Hands-on exposure to grid-connected BESS assets across Australia
