The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of renewable energy, a strong legal/commercial background, and proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and complex contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts across operational and development-stage renewable energy projects.
- Negotiate and administer project agreements while identifying and mitigating legal, financial, and operational risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with project and business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards, supported by accurate contract records and reporting.
- Support dispute resolution processes and engage external legal counsel when required.
- Bachelor of Laws (mandatory).
- Minimum 8 years of experience within, or providing services to, the renewable energy industry.
- Demonstrated expertise with renewable energy project agreements including LTSA and EPC contracts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management tools/software.
- Exposure to utility-scale and distributed generation projects.
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented renewable energy environments.
- Familiarity with offtake agreements, energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and project financing structures will be highly regarded.
