About the Role
PR Projects (PRP) is seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join a major renewable energy project at the Western Downs Green Power Hub. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on one of Australia’s largest renewable energy developments while completing your apprenticeship.
You will work alongside experienced electricians supporting installation, commissioning and maintenance activities on a large-scale solar and battery energy project.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with electrical installation and maintenance works
• Cable installation, termination and testing
• Support commissioning and fault finding activities
• Maintain safe work practices in accordance with site and WHS requirements
• Work collaboratively within a high-performing renewable energy project team

Requirements

• Currently a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
• Strong interest in renewable energy projects
• Ability to work safely in a construction environment
• White Card (mandatory)
• Current driver’s licence preferred
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Important Conditions

• Local candidates only – no FIFO or DIDO arrangements available
• Must be able to travel daily to the Western Downs Green Power Hub project site
