Phillip Riley are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Lead to join a national consultancy delivering some of Australia’s most significant renewable and conventional power projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of utility-scale energy projects across SA and VIC.
- Work with network service providers (NSPs) and AEMO on generator connections.
- Oversee key design deliverables – from single line diagrams to protection and load flow studies.
- Manage teams, mentor engineers, and build strong client relationships
- 10+ years in energy projects, including 5+ years in utility-scale generation.
- Expertise in NEM connections and experience with Australian codes, standards & NER.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project delivery skills.
- Engineering degree (Chartered status highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of Transmission and Distribution, power generation and substation and renewables projects
- Understanding of substation and transmission design is highly desirable
