Project Manager
Manage engineering and fabrication projects from handover to completion with an established Manawatū business.
- Own projects from planning through fabrication and site installation.
- Manage programme, costs, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Growth business, plans to double turnover
Youâll take ownership of projects from handover through to completion, with responsibility for programme, cost, quality, safety and client communication.
The role
- Plan and deliver engineering, fabrication and installation projects.
- Coordinate workshop work, site activities, materials and subcontractors.
- Interpret drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Track budgets, margins, variations and delivery milestones.
- Manage procurement, project documentation and quality requirements.
- Keep customers and internal teams informed as work progresses.
- Identify delivery risks and work through practical solutions.
- Support estimates and tenders where needed.
Strong organisation, clear communication and a practical approach to solving problems will matter here. Experience with estimating or job-management systems would be useful, but isnât essential.
