Electrical Project Engineer – Contract – FIFO

• FIFO Role - 2 and 1 roster
• $4 month contract with potential for another 8 months
• Great camp provided on site

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer for an immediate site-based contract opportunity in Central Queensland.
The position will support the electrical commissioning phase of a major renewable energy project, overseeing site works, monitoring progress and helping identify and close out defects.
Key details:

• Initial four-month contract with potential extension
• Immediate start preferred
• 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster
• Fully catered site accommodation provided
• Attractive day rate

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five years’ Australian project experience
• Strong substation and electrical commissioning experience
• Previous experience on renewable energy or grid connection projects
• Experience working FIFO on remote construction sites
• Strong stakeholder, contractor and defect-management skills

Previous utility scale energy or client-side experience would be advantageous but is not essential. An electrical licence is not required.
