A well-capitalised renewable energy platform with a significant utility-scale wind and BESS pipeline is seeking a Senior Development Manager to support the continued growth of its Australian portfolio.
With projects spanning multiple states and development stages, the business is continuing to build out its internal capability across late-stage development, commercial progression and broader project delivery activities.
Working within a lean, high-performing environment, this role will initially focus on progressing late-stage BESS development activities, while also supporting broader wind and hybrid project opportunities across the portfolio. The position will work closely with senior leadership across project strategy, commercial workstreams, stakeholder engagement and progression toward FID/construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead late-stage development activities across utility-scale BESS and renewable energy projects
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, planning and stakeholder workstreams through to FID
  • Manage development strategy, project risks, programme and consultant activities
  • Support procurement, grid and broader commercial development activities
  • Lead stakeholder, community and landowner engagement processes
  • Work closely with senior leadership across project progression and investment decision-making
  • Support broader wind and hybrid development opportunities across the portfolio
About You
  • Experience across utility-scale renewable energy development
  • Strong exposure across BESS, wind and/or hybrid projects
  • Understanding of project progression toward FID and construction readiness
  • Exposure across commercial, technical and stakeholder interfaces
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management capability
  • Ability to operate within a lean, fast-moving development environment
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, Property, Commerce or similar
