About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of civil, environmental and renewable energy projects.

Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, you will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all phases of civil engineering projects, from initial design to completion.
  • Prepare and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain clear communication and resolve project challenges.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and environmental guidelines.
  • Prepare reports and documentation, tracking project milestones and outcomes.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in project management within the civil engineering sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil infrastructure and earthworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • A valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • Renewable energy project experience is highly desirable.
