We are looking for an experienced Power Systems Technician. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of power to communities and industries nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, test, and maintain high-voltage (HV) protection systems and schemes.
  • Oversee the commissioning, testing, and maintenance of HV substation secondary systems and primary equipment.
  • Manage the commissioning, testing, and maintenance of various HV and low-voltage (LV) plant assets.
  • Provide leadership and supervision for maintenance and project work packages.
  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning and testing documentation, including protection test plans and technical reports.
  • Offer technical support and expertise to clients and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Essential: Electrical Practising Licence from the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB).
  • Desirable: Power Technician qualification or a Diploma in Power Systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in HV and LV power systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable AS/NZS and international standards, plus industry best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work autonomously or within a team
