Seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to lead the development and continuous improvement of integrated QHSE systems.

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to lead the development and continuous improvement of integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) systems across our Australian operations.
Reporting to the QHSE Manager – Operations, you will champion a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with WHS and environmental legislation, and drive strategic HSE initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and enhance integrated HSEQ management systems aligned with ISO standards and Australian legislation
  • Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and contractor HSE reviews
  • Identify and manage HSE risks, reporting insights to senior leadership
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and compliance programs
  • Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, contractors, and key stakeholders
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental legislation, and ISO standards
  • Proven experience developing and implementing HSE systems
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, reporting, and communication skills
Highly regarded:
  • 8+ years’ operational HSE experience within power generation, energy, or renewables
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Strong auditing, risk management, and data analysis capability
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening safety performance within a leading renewable energy organisation. Interstate travel may be required.
