We are currently working with an investment manager in the energy transition sector focused on providing investors with enhanced returns from energy transition investments including coupling solar and BESS, distributed energy, industrial transition and renewables recycling.

They are looking to add a Finance Manager to the team in Melbourne

Core Qualifications
CPA or CA qualification.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
At least 5 years' experience in management reporting and financial analysis.
Experience in investment, financial services, or preferably the renewable energy sector.
Technical Skills
Management reporting.
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Financial modelling and investment analysis.
Portfolio valuation and performance monitoring.
Cash flow and treasury management.
Financial reporting and board reporting.
Australian taxation, audit, and compliance.
Advanced Excel, Power BI, Xero (or similar ERP/reporting systems).
Risk management and scenario analysis.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Managing relationships with executives, boards, investors, lenders, and external stakeholders.
Leading cross-functional teams across multiple business units and geographies.
Supporting executive and board meetings.
Driving process improvements and best-practice financial management.
Personal Attributes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High attention to detail.
Integrity and professionalism.

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

This role is focused on someone who can operate as a strategic finance business partner—not just preparing reports, but providing insights, supporting investment decisions, leading budgeting and forecasting, overseeing compliance, and presenting financial information to executives and the
