Electrician

We’re seeking an experienced O&M Electrician to support utility-scale renewable energy assets, primarily at Clements Gap BESS and Mannum Solar Farm 2, with occasional travel across Australia for commissioning and project support.

This is a hands-on role focused on safe, reliable operation of solar and battery energy storage systems, including HV switching, SCADA monitoring, fault response, and planned maintenance. You’ll play a key role in keeping critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HV switching in line with approved procedures
• Respond to alarms, faults, and operational incidents
• Monitor and troubleshoot assets via SCADA systems
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance
• Maintain CMMS records, work orders, and reporting accuracy
• Support commissioning, energisation, and site readiness activities
• Coordinate subcontractors and OEM support as required
• Ensure compliance with all WHS and environmental standards
• Participate in on-call roster and emergency call-outs

About You

You’re a qualified electrician with strong experience in utility-scale renewables or power generation. You’re confident working with HV systems, comfortable using SCADA, and take a practical, safety-first approach to operations.
You’re reliable under pressure, good at problem-solving, and able to work both independently and as part of a site team.
What You’ll Need

• Electrical Licence (South Australia)
• HV Switching Operator qualification and experience
• Experience in O&M of utility-scale solar, BESS, or similar assets
• Strong SCADA monitoring and fault-finding capability
• Experience working with WHS and operational procedures
• White Card
