An established IPP backed by significant institutional capital is seeking a Development Manager to join its Australian development team.
The business has a significant pipeline of utility-scale wind, BESS and hybrid projects across the NEM and is continuing to expand its development capability across multiple states.
Working within a lean development environment, this role will focus on supporting early-stage renewable energy development activities, with exposure across project strategy, planning approvals, stakeholder engagement and broader project progression activities across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support utility-scale renewable energy projects through development phases
  • Coordinate planning approvals, EES/environmental workstreams and consultant activities
  • Manage stakeholder, landowner and community engagement processes
  • Assist with project strategy, programme management and risk identification
  • Coordinate technical, planning and commercial workstreams across projects
  • Work closely with internal development, technical and commercial teams
About You
  • Experience within renewable energy project development
  • Exposure across wind, BESS and/or solar projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
  • Understanding of planning approvals and development processes
  • Able to operate within a lean, fast-moving development environment
